Man arrested for homosexual child abuse

A man has been arrested in Shaviyani atoll Feydhoo island for homosexual child abuse.

CNM is informed that Ismail Rasheed from Fus Villa house is the duty officer of the island's powerhouse.

Police media official said that such a case was reported and is under investigation but did not say whether anyone was arrested or not in connection with the case.

Island council's vice president told CNM that the case was reported to police on the request of the child's family.
